COLD BREW

Cold brew is a refreshing and delicious way to enjoy coffee, especially on hot summer days. Unlike traditional hot brewed coffee, cold brew coffee is steeped in cold water for an extended period of time, resulting in a smooth and rich flavoured coffee with less acidity.

INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED

Recipe

  • Weigh 100g coffee and grind on a coarse setting. (About the size of kosher salt.)
  • Add coffee to the filter compartment 
  • Fill with 1 L cold filtered water .
  • Let it steep for 14-18 hrs and then remove the filter.
  • Pour over the ice and serve
  • Enjoy your delicious cold brew, everyday.

Tips

  • Choose freshly roasted coffee beans (Ideally 14-28 days old)
  • Adjust your coffee to water ratio to achieve desired strength
  • You can store cold brewed coffee for a period of 10 days in your fridge.
  • If brewing without a filter: Use a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to strain the coffee grounds.
  • Mix it up: Experiment with fruits, juices, spices, sweeteners and different milks.
